Didn't know that was what you dudes were doing. Just figured people migrated to other forums or got busy with wives or joined underground wiener smuggling clubs or whatever. I have a fake facebook for bands, nothing for humans, and otherwise zero social media.

I've got most everybody on there, even if I rarely ever interact widdem, lol. Forums are dead in general, sadly.

I hate Facebook. It looks and operates like shit. Twitter and snapchat are stupidererer, both in organization and especially content. Tumblr is useless outside of porn or nature photos (that can of course be found in higher quality elsewhere, making it still mostly pointless), but the platform is still trash. Instagram is the only thing that looks good and works well and has not-useless content on it. But the hashtag thing is still so stupid and annoying. Facebook somehow is still the best standalone outlet for me to participate in despite it being so clunky and annoying. Realistically, if bandcamp implemented a *side* room of forums or instagram like chats, that'd be the most ideal. But for now, their scroll down sections of reviews are the only comm methods in place and are sadly useless, as well.

If it had ended up being a UHD4K disc, it may have been one of the biggest inspirations to upgrade everything to 4K, so I guess it's a bit of both a relief and a disappointment that it's not. I have to say though, a $50 price point with no chance of being wholesaled to a distributor that can offer a discount is downright aggravating. Is Arrow gonna come back in six months with a superior product that I can pick up from Amazon for half the price again?

Most of my internet time is spent on NintendoAge. And that's mainly so I have something to do at work so I don't go crazy.

Yeah but that Italian UHD is based on the TLEFilms restoration, which [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Basically, TLEFilms take the "leave everything alone" approach, choosing not to digitally enhance their restorations. So you get this funky green tint and faded colors. They're both based on the same 4K master (which Synapse commissioned and worked closely on with Technicolor Rome), but Synapse have done painstaking work to get the color timing and contrast right, working closely with the original DP. With the Italian UHD, you'd be getting 4K res of a washed out transfer.

Synapse said they may consider 4K UHD a few years from now when replication costs go down. In the meantime, their restoration in 1080p will look better than TLEFilms' in 4K.

All of Synapse's limited steelboks have gotten general releases about 7 months later, so I'd say it's a sure thing with Suspiria if you wish to get it from Amazon for ~$20 instead.

As for Arrow doing Suspiria, I believe the UK film rights belong to someone else still. Also, my buddy Michael Mackenzie, who works for Arrow, did a visual essay for Synapse's Blu-ray, which points to Arrow not getting hold of the movie any time soon (otherwise why blow their special features load on a rival's release?).

I just registered there this past weekend because Frank keeps talking about it. I'll try to post when I think about it. Is it just Nintendo talk and collection related, though? I rarely buy old games anymore, just current gen (PS4, Switch, XBO).

I've got a few of you on facebook, Kerr as well, but he recently deactivated his facebook. So who knows what he's up to. For social interaction, the very little I have anymore besides my family, it's pretty much just facebook occasionally.

95% of my Facebooking consists of talking to Kate about video games.

I want an SNES Classic but probably won't be able to get one. Really just want it for a licensed copy of Star Fox 2, which has never been available in its completed, QA-tested form, so this'll be the fully functioning version of the game. Assuming I can't get one, I'll just wait for someone to dump the ROM.

I pop in here now and then. On FB a decent amount though.

I'm still alive. Haven't checked here for awhile. Glad to see there are some posts. I want an SNES Classic really badly, but I doubt I'll actually get one. Gonna get a Switch soon though so that's gonna be rad. I'll have all three main consoles once I get it. I don't use my Xbox One ever though. I basically live on my PS4. I really play a lot of PS4 games...

Fuck Nintendo and their classic shit. Supposedly they're continuing the SNES into next year and bringing back the NES but I won't be expecting to see one in stores. I bought my Pi because all this stuff annoyed the shit out of me along with Hyperkin making shit products.

Nintendo has done a piss poor job of releasing the Classic systems. The NES one didn't appeal much to me, but I'm really hyped on the SNES one. It just seems like an awesome semi-collectable thing to have. And it will give me a good excuse to play some classic SNES games that I might not otherwise make the time for.

Emulate, man.

Yeah that's what everyone I know keeps telling me. I should but won't.
