iPod Touch

... Anyone have one?
Or even an iPhone.

I'm considering buying an iPod Touch 16 gb (despite my hating Apple)... Just wondered if anyone had an experience with them.

Fuck that. What's so special about them? Just get a classic with 160gb or so for about the same price.

Basically, yes. 160 gigs compared to...16 or whatever, same price, BUT YOU CANZ TOUCH ITS.

I have a 20 gb creative zen mp3 player... I think I'm going to give it to my brother for Christmas...

Well, one idea I'm in love with is that it has wireless internet capabilities... So, like, I'm sitting in McDonald's, and I want to know the weather.... Awesome.

Whereas, if I wanted to use my phone it would cost me a lot of money.

couldn't you just walk outside the mcdonalds to know the weather

I have an iPod Touch with 32Gs. I got it instead of an iPod classic because I thought the extra features might be nice, but I still pretty much use it for music and videos (and occasionally to take notes). Stuff like the internet browsing seemed nice, but you need to get access to a WiFi server, and the only place I've really been able to get access to one is in my house, and if I'm in my house, I might as well just use the fucking computer. Also, like with every single fucking thing related to Apple that I've used, it'll fuck up at random points. A month ago, it just flat-out stopped working, so I took it to the Apple store and they said the battery had been depleted. They asked me if I had charged it recently, and I told them it was charged, like the day before. So they charged it up, and I took it back to my computer to re-sync it. It works again, but it's still an iPod Touch. It's not terrible, but it is overrated.

Also, I don't know if you can play iPhone games on an iPod Touch or not, but I haven't tried it.

hmmm. well, i have wifi internet in all my classes and in a lot of restaurants since it's a college town.

Then in that case, an iPod touch might be worth it. I actually haven't tried using WiFi Internet on my iPod touch since I graduated high school, so maybe it'll work on my college campus

And, a lot of community colleges do have wi-fi. Especially if they have on-campus dorms.
However, BRANCHES of community colleges without dorms don't necessarily need to.

Man Santa Monica College is even more obscure than CSUSM. :p
