I was introduced to someone I consider my best friend in first grade. His name is Kyle. The friend that introduced us had a bit of a speech impediment. I thought his name was Cow.

I actually misspelled my friend Chris' name once. I thought I had seen the lettering on his Bible cover in 2nd or 3rd grade say "Kris," so I wrote that on his invitation to my birthday party. He came up to me and laughed and said, "My name's spelled the same way as yours!" and I shrugged and smiled and said, "My mom made the invitations. I don't know why she thought your name was spelled Kris."
