i didn't watch... thought about it, but no.

I watched the whole thing. Good times.

i just read the speech text.

i liked the bit about choosing hope over fear.

mostly. if you don't like it, it's going to get worse with congress and president being the same party.

I would hope it wouldn't come down to that. They shouldn't vote for ideas simply because they share the same party... it should be because it's a good idea. But... there are many idiots in this world. And it's partially why Obama is president. I'm not knocking Obama... but there were MANY black people who voted simply because he was black. Not because of what he said.

there were also plenty of white people who agreed with obama but refused to vote for him. it evens out pretty well.

i'm just saying, more democratic things will get passed because there will no longer be a republican vetoing.

I didn't watch the inauguration. My mom and her friend were at... some place though, around the inauguration, I think. They seemed to enjoy it.
