Mardi Gras

Do you guys over in the states have the exact same celebration? Down here in sydney it was held last night. Two stabbings happened this year but I don't know if they were related to the celebration.

Yes it's quite famous, held in New Orleans and other lesser cities but New Orleans is the big place known for it.

I've been in a Mardi Gras parade. Eh... don't really care for the whole thing. It's pretty stupid in my opinion.

Well it celebrates the gay lifestyle or whatever. Heterosexuals can be in the parade and celebrate it and all. I just view it as a celebration for gays.

The GTA games are edited as far as I know. Australia is pretty shit with its censorship laws as the rating agency won't make an 18+ rating legal.

I knew Mardi Gras occurred in other countries but I wasn't sure if it was a big celebration like what we have. I don't really look into other countries cultures.
