Why would you need that to qualify for grind? The Nasum drummer never used double bass, I don't think. At least not in earlier recordings. His stuff on the World in Turmoil EP is off the hook!

They are famous but I wouldn't say popular.

I don't need a double bass, yeah I guess, but I want one. Which is funny though, since I'm pretty sure I want nothing to do with metal or grindcore. Maybe hardcore, but probably more than likely psych-rock or alt-country.

It would be more like a fusion of deathcore and country music. I'd figure it out along the way.

I'd rather play death country or gothic country, a la Elliott Brood or o'death, etc.

I feel bad. I actually found those guys like two years ago, but didn't think they were any good so I didn't post them on the boards. But when they were posted by whoever just recently, everybody loved them. I still think they're meh.

someone recommended them to me a while back. I like them well enough, for country anyway.
