Cover of the rerelease with my original mix. The first one I posted, I mean. The one in this post is the original cover.

The picture is better in the new one, the m135 font is better in the old one, and the album title font is better in the new.

that's all I got.

I really liked the old font... but it's just, I dunno. Really generic and over-used, I guess. I see a lot of bands I know using that same font for stuff. And I really liked the washed out colors on the new one.

And it's going to be sad when like no one on my own message board buys my cd.

The small font is hard to read.

I much prefer the first cover.

I've actually got the border blackened out. I uploaded this one before doing that. It's still got the design... but it's coming from black and it's not just there. Eh...

Anyway, just did up the insert. My thank you and what not. I'm sure I sound lame. And the disc. Oh my god... The disc looks fucking awesome.

I guess I'm just really excited about my first physical cd.

How about use a regular bold font with a higher contrasting color?

Examples?

Almost any death metal cd. I mean. I know it says "Assimilation Through Arms" so I can see it just fine. And my point was... if you know the title you can easily make it out anyway. It's not a hard text to read.

I'm pretty serious it's hard to read. I mean if you showed me an example (not that it makes what you did better) then I'd let you off the hook.

But it really isn't hard to read.

I mean I can see it, but I have to look really closely to read what it says. It's a very thin font with an annoying color. Just look at the cover of a normal CD the font is bold, and is on a high contrasting background. I've got a stack of 6 CDs in my hand and they all follow this outline.

I see you're not taking the hint that I don't care because I like how it looks...

Even beyond that, I still fail to see how you can fail to see it easily. It's really not even close to difficult.

You'll be happy to know that on the disc itself... both have a white font with a black stroke.

Anyway, I've got all the artwork done. All that's left is just to submit and order. Will do that tomorrow.

Alright... Cd is completed and published. Should be getting my review copy later this week. I could already start taking orders and shipping them out, but I want to make sure everything is in proper order first.

The new one is pure fucking win.
