Get a Civic, better lookin than the 'rollas. Bout da same price.

Oil filters only need to be hand tightened. Dealers and joints love really tightening the god damned thing though. That first change on any new car is a bitch.

Yeah, I only do hand-tighten 'em, but I would tighten 'em REALLY HARD. :P So hard that they can't be untightened without some really good leverage, which I can't get squeezing my gigantic hand down through that tiny space.

My mom used have a V6 one of those, well a 08 but same generation. Thing was FASTTTTTTT!

I got a 06 Civic because I predicted gas going up, and boy, I was right. Hovering around $3 here.

i love my car and get fairly good gas mileage. i am kinda bored with it, though... had it 4 years now.

It won't blow up, the engine will just get sludgy and it will cease to work. Tongue

You've got a nice looking car you should you should probably keep up with the maintenance.

I think 09 was the first of this generation, actually. Or, wait, maybe even '10 is. It's definitely not 08 though.

I really wanted the V6, especially since the MPG difference was very negligible (21/31 for the 4 and 19/29 for the 6), but my payments would have been somewhere in the area of $75 more per month. With how tight I am on money these days, it's good that I didn't. But it would have been ever better if I just went to Carl's Car Cabin and got a '98 Corolla for three grand cash instead Tongue Coulda got just liability insurance for half the price each month that way too.

But when I got back from school in August 08, my mom had a 07 Camry V6 SE and that thing was nice and had some good getup.
