I'm definitely splurging sometime this fall. Five years is a long time for a laptop.

I'm thinking of going stationary too. I think my employer is going to start handing out Macbooks this fall, so hopefully I can get in on that and cover my laptop needs that way.

My desktop wouldn't start the other night but a Win7 update or the fact I was drunk and aggravated the other night probably "told it" not to start due to a hard drive problem.

lol my laptop isn't fast enough to run some of hte math programs I've written once we get up over 1000 sample points.
