What video games are you guys playing nowadays?

Everyone knows the general discussion part of this forum is the best part, so I decided to post this thread here. By the way, I'm just gonna assume you are all playing Skyrim because everyone else I know is playing Skyrim, and I don't give a fuck.

In the last few weeks I beat Alice: Madness Returns, Dead Space, Dead Space 2, and Bioshock. Started playing Bioshock 2 the other day... probably going to be a while before I finish it. Bought a game that sucks called Ninja Blade and probably won't finish it due to reasons I stated in the haul's thread. And I got Star Wars Republic Commando today. Fucking love that game. Already put 2 hours into it.

Hopefully I'll be playing Star Wars The Old Republic in December. It comes out the day before my birthday so here's hoping. Subscription fee part sucks, though, so I may wait.

Oh... and I guess maybe I should say those games I mentioned on top of various NES and SNES games. Trying to make my way through some NES sentai games. Got most of the way though Choujin Sentai Jetman and a little ways into Kyouryuu Sentai Zyuranger. Played Bucky O'Hare the other day and some of the platforming got kind of difficult so I may or may not return to that in the near future.

In all honesty, after I beat SWRC I'll probably just replay the Dead Space games.

Haven't been playing much really. League of Legends every once in a while, I'll pick up Dark Souls once a week or so, that's it really. Bout to try and get into some games I just bought during the steam sale. Dungeons of Dredmor SHOULD hook me in. Luv me sum rogue likes. Would like to play Skyrim, but I really don't like spending 60 bucks on single player games

Been playing AC:B so I can beat it when AC:R gets here.


Other than that just been playing random stuff.

Been playing The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword because it's aaaaaaawesoooooome. I don't usually play games anymore, but I'm always down for a new console Zelda outing.

Other than that, I've had a GoldenEye hankering and so have been playing that on the N64 as well as The World Is Not Enough.

Ah okay. I'm thinking of getting Dark Souls, but I'm worried I won't have enough patience for it. I get frustrated by games easily. I actually am fairly interested in Rayman Origins, and I think I might get that as well as Catherine for the holidays. I meant to pick up Catherine months ago, but just never did. My friend recently let me borrow the new DBZ game. It sucks. Oh well. I also have been playing Gears 3 a lot recently.

God damn Republic Commando. I just spent like an hour on one section because you were under a time limit. I'm pretty much back to where I was when my Xbox copy fucked up. That's good for me, woo. Still enjoying it even though it's getting a bit frustrating.

It would be if I had money. The thing is that I know I will end up abandoning that game, as much as I want to play it.

Rayman was also on sale for 40 on Amazon but I didn't snag it. Decided I wouldn't have time to get around to playing it anyway and I'd rather get it cheaper.

Games are just too damn expensive. Only the rare exceptions will make me wanna pay $40+. As such, I never really play games when they're brand new.

Catherine and Rayman Origins I wanna play, but I don't wanna pay any more than $20 apiece.

I suppose if I had a bigger interest in games these days I wouldn't feel like they're priced too high.

What did you think of Catherine?

Over the last two months the only game I've played is Civilization 5. I love the game, but this wasn't really by choice. It was the only Mac computer game I had and was going to get.

All of my console games were left back in the states or were being delayed in customs, and then I had to order a fucking voltage converter just to plug my consoles in, and that didn't come a few days ago. Now I just need an actual TV, which is why I have been asking about buying one, and then I can play the 5 or so games I am part way through or haven't even started yet.

Also, fuck buying games right when they come out. Other than Mass Effect 2, which I bought the day it came out, I haven't paid more than 20-30 dollars for any of my Xbox 360 or Wii games. I sometimes got away with paying even less.
