Some of you complain about there being too many boards

Well DOA said today that we should just combine the movies/television boards... So I'm about to do that.

Are there any other boards you think we can get rid of or combine?

The sports board doesn't get used very often. I for one don't see its value.

It's up to them. If they don't want it anymore it could be removed or we could start using it. Hell, talk about sports video games on it for all I care.

I'm not a sports person so i don't really use it but i could come up with some topics to throw some life into it.

You know it's your own personal board... Use it how you like.

Sports is big enough to warrant it's own board. I think the combining of the movies and TV boards is a good idea. I can't think of any other boards that should be combined.

Well not a lot of sports going on now. I could talk about how much the Padres suck. I'm not watching the Euro 2008, and the olympics are coming up I could make topics when that happens in a couple of months.

Movie and Television
Music (which quite honestly you could even combine into the Movie and Television board and make it just an Entertainment board)
Gaming

Everything else can fit into General Discussion. Those other boards, except for the Dueling Ground (which I was kidding about getting rid of, but I personally don't care for it), don't get enough hits to justify their own boards, y'know?

But that's just what I think. :o Simplicity is best. At a board I've been posting at for eight years, the only two sections we had were Off Topic (General Discussion) and a video game one, and it's always worked out fine, even when the board had a ton of people posting every day (which, admittedly, it's now slowed down to a snail's crawl).

Another board I post at also has only those two sections, except for two more since it's attached to a Castlevania website and has a big community of fans posting, so there's a Castlevania discussion section (which gets more hits and posts than the video game one), and also an art board since these kinds of sites attract all the crappy "artists" who make fan art (fart) and fiction.

Neogaf only has two boards.

We were having a pissing contest on what boards have the least amount of boards. I win.

I like the way the board are set up now. It was getting kind of crazy on how boards there were.
