People Need To Learn What Privacy Means

So today i find out that mum has been going through my belongings when I'm not around and she had a go at me for some of the stuff. Things have been going well for me and my mum lately but this has really pissed me off. She wonders why i stop talking to her and refuse to share any information about my life with her.

Thats true. It just shits me that i can't have anything personal in my room anymore and that i have to delete any bits of information that i have that my mum doesn't agree with. Can't wait until i get to move out.

My mom once took my laptop.

My laptop, mind you. Not a shared computer. It was mine, not paid for by her. She would try to get on it... and one day I forgot to turn it off (it was password protected). And she saw some porn pictures. Not hardcore porn, just naked girls. She took my laptop away for I don't know how long. And she kept getting on it. My messengers would automatically launch when connected to the internet. She would actually talk to people that sent me messages trying to act like me.

Oh... and apparently little did she know I was a good student and never skipped school. People saw through the bullshit because I wouldn't have been blowing school off.

I really don't get what goes through parents heads at times. The bitch that we don't open up to them but they do nothing that makes us want to trust them. Yeah kids need to be checked on but going through their stuff or taking their own belongings from them is just stupid, makes us hate them for it.

if we're not telling them, they resort to anything they can.

as far as bad experiences with parents, that particular area--privacy--was not really an issue with me.
