Just bought a Wild Guns hard plastic case. Nice way to see how I like the cases and print jobs on the art, and I figure if I sell the game with the case, it will look more appealing; or if I decide to keep it, I've got a nice case to protect my cart.

Might buy a slug of box protectors in the future, lol.

Shout sale at Diabolik DVD. Thought about getting They Live and The Howling but decided the transfers are too shitty to bother; I'll stick to my ugly-ass DVDs.

Where'd you buy it from, and did you go for the vertical look or the original art style?

RetroGameCases (alternately UniversalGameCases), which is where I assume you got yours but if not I hope it doesn't suck, lol. Free shipping at least (though the case was a little under ten bucks).

Went for the horizontal style since I figure that'll look more enticing to potential buyers, even if my personal preference would probably be vertical.

Holy fuck did I get fucked, lol. Same case, three bucks from where you got your shit (CustomGameCases).

Honestly, I've only seen it once and that was probably ten years ago and I don't really remember liking it. Was big into Carpenter at the time and watched it and thought, "That's it? All these great movies, and here's the wet fart of his films?"

BUT, I do recall it having some awesome atmosphere, and I'm willing to plunk down money to see that again in HDz since the ambience will be even betterer and thick like a dick.

Plus, Christine was way better when I saw it the second time, so I'm hoping I'll like this one a lot more, too.

I already own Popeye, but I've been wanting to own Gust Buster and Q*bert for awhile now, and The Heist seems like an interesting game. There were separate auctions for Gust Buster alone that were going for around $40, but I got all four of these games for just about $20   yay

Holy shit, shipping from Amazon.de got cheap. Used to be you'd pay practically the same amount as the item, but this was less than five bucks with an expected delivery date of mid October.

Was gonna order from Diabolik DVD, but considering the price of the Blu-ray + shipping was $7 cheaper than what Diabolik is charging before shipping (and they have expensive shipping options), it was a no-brainer. I don't care that much about supporting the little guy.

Been so close to pulling the trigger on Earthbound the last couple days.  Really the last game from my youth that I really coveted owning (I have played through it several times on a friend's copy) and don't have yet

In the meantime I'm thinking I should go trade in my second copy of Mario RPG for Yoshi's Island or something. Keep my habit at bay without spending money

EarthBound is a really good game, but if you don't mind not owning the actual cartridge, you could always download it on the Wii U; or buy a Wii U and download it if you don't have one. That would probably be less expensive than a complete copy of the Super NES game

Got my Wild Guns case. Not totally impressed by the printing. Maybe that's just RetroGameCases and other folks do it better, but the printing is really dark. I don't notice any bleedthrough or stuff like that, so it's a good print job in that sense, but I'm just not feelin' how dark/heavy the inks are.

frank, have you gotten any cases yet? Wondering if CustomGameCases or whoever you went through use the same plastic cases. This one has Electronic Arts imprinted and it houses SNES and N64/Genesis carts. Wondering if they're pretty universal cases or if some other place has cases that snap the SNES carts in, 'cos this one's just a little loose.
