I just heard gunshots

Not that far from here. No sirens indicating police or ambulances, though. Feel like checking it out. Maybe I could find a dead body. Or maybe not. Meh.

Not really. It's not incredibly dangerous here.

I don't believe I've ever heard a gunshot in real life. I don't know what I'd do if I ever did hear it, though.

You can hear them midnight on new years anywhere you live though so perhaps he doesn't realize people are poppin caps.

There are often fireworks around here during the Fourth of July and such, even though they're illegal in California. I still have never heard a gunshot in real life though.

It's pretty dangerous where I live too!!!! Yesterday my apartment office got robbed!!!!
And I even remember a few weeks ago there was a police helicopter hovering above my house announcing that they're looking for some black dude who goes around kidnapping little girls!!!!!
Whoa, I better go buy myself a gun and learn to sleep with my eyes open!!!! I'm starting feel so dang paranoid!!!!!!
