That's exactly what it is.

I had considered doing that with Dir en grey cds when they were going for like $40 each on ebay. I found a guy selling all of them for $50. Like he was selling multiple bundles. I wanted to get them all then sell the cds separately for a profit but I didn't... and now their cds aren't worth shit.

Same thing happened to me with a buncha other stuff, like having rare DVDs that went from a sought after collector's item to just another used DVD because they got better special editions or Blu-Ray upgrades. Also I have an original first pressing of ICO which used to go for $50+ a couple years ago, until they announced an HD combo pack with Shadow of the Colossus for PS3, now they only go for like $15-20. Tons of sellers still list them with Buy-It-Nows or starting bids of $45 or more, but those never sell.

I had pretty good timing when I sold my PS1 stuff, though. More than half a dozen of my games sold individually for $100 or more each, and a buncha others were in the $40-80 range. I had about 70 PS1 games, all of them I bought new, save for maybe one or two, and half of them were rare and valuable games. Despite that other half of the lot just being sold on eBay as bundles or to Gamestop, I definitely made a profit on my PS1 collection.

I gotta sell all my cd's before they ain't worth shit.

I've gone digital long ago and never use them.

IGN's running normal again. Weird. Was even working on my phone when I was getting trashed across the street last night.

Even though I use mp3's and my iPod for listening to mainly, I still like to purchase cds. I just like having them.
