Beer and tomato juice sucks

Beer and clam is way better. Mind you, this could just be shitty because I'm drinking Budweiser.

Micheladas are a mexican drink.

Tecate, tomato juice, lime and some people add spices or some shit to them like peppers.

Honestly, I can't stand tomato juice so I don't like 'em much.


Beer + Clams just sounds like something I'd chuck up later.

It's a Mexican beer. It's like the Keystone Lites, Natty Lites or Bud Lites of Mexican beers. Cheap, but they get the job done if you want to get drunk.

Sounds like something I'd hate (not a fan of mexican beer to begin with). I've made the same drink though, but with Coors Light (which I actually like for some reason lol)

Tecate's actually really good, I like it a lot. Not as much as I like Pabst, and it's more expensive than Pabst, so it basically has to be on sale and me be in the mood for it.

Tecate + lemon > Corona + lime or anything

I've never liked Clamatos or any variation thereof, by the way. Don't like tomato juice at all, though I do love clams, but I'd rather just have a pitcher of tight beer while getting shooters at an oyster bar or whatevs, if ya catch my drift.

Oh yeah, for sure. I probably made it seem like Tecate tastes like shit considering what beers I compared it to, but I forgot to say that it's pretty damn good.

As far as notoriety/pervasiveness/image, yeah, I guess it's basically the Budweiser of Mexico. Very different tasting, though.

That being said I like Budwieser a good deal too, actually. I never buy it though, cuz it's way overpriced for what it is, methinks. $10 plus tax/CRV for a 12-pack? I'll take my 12-pack of PBR for $7.50 out the door, thank you.

Coors Light IS the worst beer I've ever had.

I didn't even know you guys had coors light in the states to be honest. Anytime I've ever heard an american reference coors, they always just talk about Coors, which I've never seen for sale here. Weird.

probably not, blond lager tends to be pretty shitty, but I have had a few I don't mind.

I only had it once at a Dark Castle show.

The last concert I went to had a choice of Molson Canadian, Pilsner, or Guinness. It was awesome.
