I'm not any kind of Velvet Underground superfan myself, but they are pretty good. Though I have to admit that I've been exposed to very little of Lou Reed's solo/side stuff, and none of it's ever really done anything for me.

But not even knowing who they or Lou Reed are is still baffling to me though.
