Stalin was the leader of the country. haha, but when it comes to generals I can't remember even when I just had this a couple of months ago in American Histroy II.

why would you be studying russia in american history?

Cause America was invovled in WW2.

...I know that, it just seems odd you'd be studying that in depth with Russia when you're in an American history class (especially when America had no conflict witht he USSR during ww2)

here's one that's really not that bad, looks alot more difficult than it is.

Show that if p is prime and 1 less than or equal to k, and k < p, then the binomial coefficient (p k) is divisible by p.

2 hints: (p k) = p! / (k!(p-k)!)
if a is divisible by b (notation is a|b where | means 'divides') then there is an integer c such that b = ac

let c = ( (p-1)!/(k!(k-p)!))

so as you cna see, p! = p(p-1)(p-2)...(p-n) and we have to use n because don't know the value of p

I don't know how to prove the rest of it. I thought it was incomplete but handed it in anyway and he called me on where I thought I buggered up. I didn't put enough thought into proving the last bit.
