so... this time last week

i had to go with a friend of mine to take her mother (my "god-mother") to commit herself to a psych ward. it was quite an experience, i must say.

could you guys ever see yourselves getting so screwed up that you'd commit yourself? could you imagine yourself ever having someone you love committed because they were "off"?

I could commit someone. I'd never admit to needing to be committed,

you'd rather have someone else commit you if it got that far? ha

to some degree, it looks better for someone to be sane enough to realize something isn't right with them and know they need help.
however, if i'm that sane... i'm going to realize that i don't want other people to know.

If i was in such a situation where i knew that i needed to be committed i'm sure i'd use denial to pretend i'm fine.

as most people do, i'm sure.

i'd likely do the same.

I told my parents many times that I need help.

They don't care.

It may not be what this movie makes it out to be, but I've always had a dream that I was in a psych ward like girl interrupted.

honestly, i was praying the people at the ward didn't want to talk to me about any of the stuff going on because i didn't want to have to stay, too!

perhaps it would be a welcomed vacation, but i'm probably pretty close to a nervous breakdown, myself.
