The Walking Dead isn't butt ugly. It's just cell shaded.
As long as a game has a certain style to it and doesn't try to look like Crysis 3 then it will look good. The minute you try to make your game look good/realistic and fail it that's when you can say the game is but ugly. Like Rogue Warrior or Darkest of Days.

No, it's butt ugly. It's not "just cell shaded" :p There are plenty of cell shaded games that look a lot better.
