Have you ever had a traumatic experience with food that has kept you from eating that particular food?

For me many years ago I used to eat Cool Ranch Doritos, well I ate one and it got caught under my loose tooth and it hurt a lot. So now I don't eat Cool Ranch Doritos.

When I was a child I was ill. During my illness I happened to try a cheese burger for the first time. I spewed the burger back up and for many years after that I never ate cheese.

But you ate burgers?

Since it was my first time having cheese I blamed that for making me throw up. I never considered the possibility that my stomach was unable to keep down food since I was ill.

How young were you when you first had cheese? ballpark estimate.

About 5 I think. Well that time was the earliest time I can remember eating it. I'm sure when I was younger I was fed cheese but I have no recollection of it.
