IGN makes the big change tonight

Honestly wish I weren't banned right now so I could enjoy at least one more night there. Oh well...

The classic theme isn't terrible... but it still sucks.

Yeah I just read they added the "classic" theme so at least the board stretches the width of the page.

They took care of the other issues I had a problem with mostly. Still looks odd having the name under the icon though.

Wow. I can't believe how bad it is now. It's really, really terrible. Even the so-called "classic" does nothing good enough. It's uglier than FaceBook's layout

The vesti riot went on for 2 hours waiting for them to change it.

The change has a few alright features but the appearance of it is horrible.

I'm not sure why IGN, decided to change formats or whatever and abandon it's classic charm. I guess I don't mind the particular features or ideas (or perhaps even the general feel) they implemented in the new design of the new boards, when I look at them, in and of themselves. When you start looking deeper, the appeal doesn't last. I am not liking how the posting is looking (or how the layout effects it), and how awkward it is, at all. Do not want. They could have worked in some of the new features using the old set-up or layout, which was more enjoyable, to me, and really is what gave the site it's character. IGN doesn't feel like the same place anymore.

They should have given you the option of which board layout to use. Just like how threads look different when you go to them from an article.

Over 24 hours and 3 ban requests later... I still don't know why I was fucking banned or for how long. Those guys are pathetic.

So I can't type in boards.ign.com/metal/b5115 to browse the boards while I'm banned? I've got to go search for that mother fucker manually? God this update is terrible.

Yep it's gone. It was a massive porn gif thread that went on for 4 pages with no mods. Just deleted now.
