Are the boards running kind of assy for anyone else?

Like sometimes you'll get a 404 error instead of your post posting? Also the boards kinda chug on occasion.

Must be on the server end.

I couldn't even access the boards yesterday. Kept saying that the server could not be found.

Happened to me for a while yesterday. Once today. I dunno what's going on. It's the host.

I've had no problems with IGN at all. I haven't had any problems with this forum either. I'm also on my... probably 5-6 year old computer right now.

Your computer probably runs as slow as IGN does. I mean the whole new look makes it run very slow, it's like slowdown if you just scroll down the page. Very annoying. I also cleaned my cache and cookies and it didn't help.

I don't have many issues with IGN. My net is rather quick though.

My internet is quick I've got cable internet. My computer is new, I've got a Radeon HD 4800. It's not a connection problem or a computer problem, it's IGN's boards sucky and slow problem.

I mean the boards were never fast but they were faster before the update. Can you at least see that?

Strangely on my laptop, IGN seems to load somewhat slowly, and my laptop is far more powerful than my desktop computer, yet my desktop computer has no trouble with the boards.

And... I don't post on IGN anymore. lolol

But really, I don't miss it.

Kurt you described the specs of your laptop before. It's not very powerful at all.

Doesn't mean it's not more poweful than a 6 year old desktop.

but it's a laptop, and laptops are fail from the get-go. Problem solved.
