I think of Pokémon when I hear of Monster Hunter.

I am tired of that game. And yet, I still play it. It's more fun in the beginning. The character I'm currently using has about 90 hours in it.

RPG type games tend to tire you out unless they're brilliant. I'm seriously dying to get a new 360 at the moment.

The slim one?

It's not really an RPG. The leveling doesn't give you boosts or anything. It's only online for a ranking system... which only gives you newer and harder quests. All your defense and attack boosts come from killing monsters and upgrading your stuff.

And that's really all the game is. Go to an area, kill the monster, use its parts to upgrade.

Yeah I'll probably end up getting the slim one when it comes out.

The online ranking system sounds quite interesting. I wouldn't mind seeing that in some other games, perhaps tweaked a bit.

July 1st for us down here was the release date I saw. We're just a tad behind.

I have not been sleeping much/well at all this weekend. SUCKS.

So i had to go home this weekend to take my dog to the vet. She had tick paralysis. Hopefully when Will picks her up Monday, she will be at least mostly back to normal.
But there is a three-legged dog that has been up at our house here for a couple months. It never let me get too close to it, but it never actually ran away--just kept a good distance. I noticed yesterday that one of its remaining legs is broken, so it can hardly walk. We are hoping it comes up today so that my friends can shoot it and put it out of its misery.

Why did you take your dog to the vet but not the other dog to the vet?

we can't catch the other dog. right now it is just sitting outside my front door, but it won't let me approach it. and honestly, i can't afford to get the dog treated (it's not ours). if i could catch it, though, i probably would try to pay to get it taken care of.

You can't catch a 3 legged dog with 1 broken leg?

It's probably scared or in shock from abuse probably and that's why it won't let you approach.

You should try to have a fundraiser for the dog, see if anyone will donate to help take care of it's vet bills.

Just got home from a 10-day visit to my girlfriend's. Got home and fixed my PC's resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768. It's like changing from eating dogshit to eating steak.

More like from eating dog shit to bird shit.

1920x1200 is where it's at, son.

Yeah, I feel like the dog is sweet, just not trusting. The best bet we would have for catching it would be a really big live trap. Then it would stress itself out even more. We were going to try to shoot the dog, but they never got a clear shot. I'm kind of happy it isn't dead, but at the same time, it really would probably be better off. I just hope its broken leg doesn't get infected.

Blah... I'm fairly high off pain medication right now. I feel like downing the rest of the bottle. I wonder how much before it would be an overdose.
