~Academy Community Thread~

Someone brought one of those $5 Boxes over across the street last night. It was pretty decent sized, suprised me.
I usually go to the burger joints though and dig off the dollar menu.

Those $5 boxes are decent. But it gets annoying when you're the guy who has to make them and everyone comes through and wants like 3. Jesus man. I never want to do fast food again in my life.

I did it for like a month. I can't imagine taking a big (like $15+ ) order. People, mostly chicks, probably change their order in the middle of the order.

I make it simple for the cashier because they do get paid shit. I usually, like at a Mickey D's, get 2 double cheese (or their new $1 equivalent) and dollar fry. 3 bucks.

Yeah, I usually get something simple if I go to a fast food place. Don't really do it much anymore.

No, the fucked up thing is looking on the screen and seeing like 80 of something... calling out to the cashier on front counter telling them they made a mistake and then getting a "No, that's right."

Fuck me.

I actually like waiting a few mins, if they give me hot food. White Castle ( I don't think any of you has those ) is good at that. I get hot food for the most part now anywhere. Fuck that Wendy's by my high school though, back in the day, 30 min old fries.

Yeah, I was always on the shift when fuckers would come in for party orders. One time somebody called in an hour for 100 tacos or something. It's cool that they at least let us know... but still, they wanted it around rush time.

The day I walked out... fuck. Someone ordered like 12 burritos, then like the person behind them ordered 8, and then people were ordering several meals. This was just in drive-thru. We only had to people on the line to make drive-thru AND front counter. So I was trying to handle all these orders the best I could. While getting yelled at for times being too long and blah blah blah. So I said "Fuck this, I'm going on my fucking break." They said if I did, don't come back. So I didn't.

I'm with you on that. I don't mind my stuff being a little cool or whatever. Hell, most of the time I'm not eating my shit right away. So it just kind of sits for a bit. Doesn't bother me.

Thats weird. Same storm system is hammering us and Memphis 570 miles away, the same time. Been a weird winter.

Gettin' snow in MS?

Got snow here today, which is fucking pointless. Last wednesday we got like a foot and a half and two days later it warmed up to 8 degrees and it all fucking melted.

We did a few weeks ago. Actually had a snow day. Crazy. Someone told me there was the possibility of an ice storm this weekend. I haven't really checked myself.

Currently, it is raining, though.
