The plan is to move to Washington. I mean it may not happen, but that is the plan. And no, Washington the state.

There is a guy in one of my programming classes that I've talked to a few times. He really likes Pantera and I think thrash is the main type of metal he likes... but he's listened to my stuff and said he likes it. And he's mentioned getting together an playing. Might have a new band. He's really into the Sumerian creation mythology. He talk to me and another guy for like 45 minutes about it. It was interesting. I think it would be cool to do a band with the lyrics based on that. I may talk to him about it.

BC? No way. Place sucks. I'm only making occasional posts there on the music board pretty much. And blah... their musical tastes suck.

Due to snow and our teacher being sick... I've only had one real day of school so far. Tomorrow should be the first day where the ball gets rolling again. What fun.

All moved out of my old place. Got everything into the new place, but very little is unpacked. The internet I'm picking up through the air for free here is faster/more reliable than the shit I was paying for at my last place lol. Have yet to see if it has slower or faster hours of the day, but for now it's pretty damn good for being free.

My friend's girlfriend used to do that. She had to pay for internet when her neighbors moved out.

Yeah, since posting I've already seen it go up and down, and was never really particularly good. Though it's obviously still better than the faulty ass Comcast I was paying for at my old place. I'd bet that we may eventually get internet of our own down the line unless this does turn out to be just very consistent and reliable, but I don't think we'll ever get cable or satellite though.

Is this illegal, by the way? I hope not, but something tells me that it is, since it's essentially the same as stealing/splicing cable, just through the air instead of through a wire lol. Not like you could really be caught though, I guess.

Yeah, I think it's illegal but who cares? They could put a password on their stuff if they were really worried about it.

That was the only thing that made me think it had a chance of being only unethical ant not actually illegal. Like, it's just there so you use it instead of hacking into it, which is much more invasive and therefore much more similar to splicing cable.

I'm pretty sure leeching internet isn't illegal here. Not that that tells you much of anything considering we could fill a warehouse with things that are illegal in the states that aren't in Canada but it could be something to go on.
