I feel pretty cool because I just finished writing a part of a piece on the piano that has the left hand playing triplets and the right hand playing in eighth notes. It's sort of hard to do smoothly, but when you just sit down and play it, it is easier than it sounds.

For the not musically inclined, this means that while the left hand is playing 3 equal length notes the right hand is playing 2 equal length notes at the same time. It's 3 to 2, which is a hell of a lot easier than 3 to 4, which makes me want to kill myself. Fuck you Beethoven and Chopin when you do that.

I think I have just successfully broken both rules of no math or music in the CT. Thank you very much.

my left hand is retarded (or ritarded--SEE WHAT I DID THERE/!) and can't keep up with my right. so i can't plan complicated stuff with my left hand. sad fucking day!
