The Academy's 2 Month Anniversary

The boards opened up on May 6th.

It's been 2 months and 10,000+ posts. I'm glad all you guys decided to come here and check it out. It's been a fun time and I hope we keep going this way for a long time. So thanks to all the members. I hope you enjoy the spam board and things we have planned for the future.

Thanks for posting and I hope you've enjoyed the boards as much as I have.

Anniversary means the celebration and/or occurrence of something annual, so I fail to see how a two-month anniversary is possible. :o

Couples have month anniversaries all the time.

Until the romance dies and both people involved in the relationship start to hate each other.

Which is precisely why I've made fun of some of my friends for having monthly "anniversaries." :P Not just because the word refers to a yearly event or reminder, but also because I personally find it retarded to constantly be keeping track of how long a relationship has gone on for, and to make anything special out of the fact that two people have been together for, say, two months, which is really such an insignificant amount of time and means nothing in the grand scheme of things.
