I'm not big on it. took Honors Calculus senior year, big mistake considering i need nothing higher than algebra I in college to pursue music.

I took algebra I in 8th grade, I'm just not busting my ass on courses that have no relevance to my major. the less time I spend with that bullshit, the more time I can spend practicing.

courses we take in highschool don't just swap over as college courses unless it was an AP course and you get credit from the AP test...

From 8-12 grade, I took Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trig/Pre-cal, Ap Calculus

I got 3 hours credit for Cal, so in college, I have College Algebra, Business Calculus, and Calculus as my math credits.

but, yes, that's precisely what happens. Though if he had a 4.0, it's likely he's not actually going to be paying to take the course.... but i don't know if it's quite the same scholarship-wise up north.
