Heat wave has been a bitch. Lucky for me there isn't any bush fires going on close to me. Today is meant to be the last day of the intense heat but I'm not counting on the southerly change coming through this afternoon.

So far 126 people have been confirmed dead in the bush fires going on down here with the death toll expected to exceed 200. This period of bush fires has outdone the death toll set by Ash Wednesday in 1983.

Its pretty crazy. Well for us anyway. Natural disasters down here normally don't rack up much of a death toll.

I hope I'll do okay, and that some bullshit like finding out my Japanese 2 class will start with Chapter 7 instead of Chapter 6, when my Japanese 1 class only went up to Chapter 5... doesn't happen. That would really fucking suck. I hope that's not the case.
