What video games are you guys playing nowadays?

Saints Row on the 360 is a cool game. It's like Grand Theft Auto, except I like it way more than Grand Theft Auto. At least with GTAIII, I found it to have very clunky controls and unfun mission design. I think Saints Row is much more playable.

Well GTA III is like 13 years old and was the first of it's kind. People have been polishing the formula

Knife of Dunwall - fuck yeah more Dishonored. Seems to be a tad harder than the original, imo. The Butchers are real tough fuckers. It's a bit annoying having to go through all the upgrading-business again though. I would have liked to have played Daud but having him all super-assassin from the first level and just messed around with all the powers for the duration of the game.

Yeah, that's true, but it didn't change the fact that I didn't enjoy playing it much. I gave up playing it when I got stuck at a point where the only two missions I could attempt were a street race against the Diablos (who always left me behind in the dust seconds into the race) or try to blow up an armored vehicle (which I never came close to doing either).

It also controlled better on Xbox. If you had the GTA double pack you had the greatest games ever.

How are the PC versions of GTAIII-San Andreas? I could just pick them up the next time Steam has them for sale, if they're worthwhile. Depending on how their controls are set up, it also might help me quite a bit when I try to aim at enemies.

I couldn't use my controller for GTA III so I quit playing immediately. I've actually had III and Vice City on Steam for a while now.

III and Vice City have some insanely frustrating parts on PC due to how shitty the controls are. Controlling the remote control helicopter made me rage quit and never come back

I've only played San Andreas on PC, which they screwed up the controls for on the Xbox anyway. I have to use Xpadder to play it, to get it the way I want to play it.

You can play it with mouse and keyboard fine I think until you try to fly a plane then it gets kinda bad, which is when I decided to invest in a controller.

I just played a whole bunch of XCOM. I've finally gotten to the point where I'm consistently beating missions without losing any soldiers I happen to be near the end of the game (I'm currently trying to get enough materials to build the

Still no Wii Uz in my possession, but if I don't have one by the time Shadow of the Eternals is out, I will for sure be getting one for that.

I'm just about ready to start the final mission in XCOM This game became so much easier once I got enough high-level soldiers, and some guys with psi powers. It's not as easy as the original X-COM could be once you got to this point, but I still can't remember the last time I lost a soldier in battle.

What Nintendo does instead of E3.

I just beat XCOM: Enemy Unknown on Classic. I really liked it for the most part, although the difficulty I thought was pretty unfair at times. I also wish the art style was a little less like Gears of War or Mass Effect. Overall however, I think it's great, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested.

Fuck that. They shoulda thought of this project while they were still Silicon Knights before Epic Games butt-raped them.

Doin' a bit of reading, it sounds like the devs have a "flexible" goal and can keep all of the funds raised should they choose—but if they think they don't have enough to boost development and actually make it a game, they'll refund everybody.

Started The Walking Dead. Figure I'll take a break from Agarest War after each generation in the game in order to avoid it feeling too repetitive

They are required to make good on the kickstarter. My only worry is that they make a handful of "episodes" and then shut down the project. We'll have to wait and see.
