Rocking my dick while I play Rayman Origins. Figured I had to finish it quickly if I'm to get a Wii U in a couple weeks (which I already preordered the Wind Waker bundle for). I'd hate to not have any games for it, lol, so I'll get Rayman Legends—though I'm kind of concerned about playing it with the bulky tablet controller, because Origins gets pretty intense and wouldn't feel right not playing with a smaller controller you can squeeze the shit out of when you're agitated.

It just seems to me like it would be too bulky and awkward for an intense sidescrolling platformer. I'll have to play some demos before I decide which console to buy it on.

Fags gotta have a reason to enjoy juvenile fun. Video game journalism is a joke.
Finished Rayman Origins. Played a demo of the Wii U version of Legends at Walmart. Thought the GamePad felt good enough and made the Murfy stages more interesting and the touch controls were kinda fun, so I'll pick it up for that for sure this Thursday.

Are you implying that you don't get off on all things juvenile?

IGN's coverage is stupid in general, but especially when it comes to GTA I wouldn't trust what they have to say about it. IGN is basically a "professional" GTA fansite.

What I meant was that doofuses who would otherwise frown upon juvenile content are all for it if they can pretend there's some satire behind it.
When really in actuality they just like tits, dicks, and poop jokes but won't admit it.

Just now I realized that my Genesis power supply is the wrong one for my NTSC Model 1 system. I don't know how I didn't notice it all these years, but this power supply is designed for a PAL system; it says 50Hz on the back, and it's in Spanish. How did I not notice this? No wonder there's been a buzzing sound whenever my Genesis is turned on

I just bought a new one on Ebay. I'm hopeful it will work fine for me.

Nah I'm not buying that. I think Atlus will be unaffected.

Maybe Atlas can show Sega how to be good.

Sega doesn't own Atlus; Sega Sammy, which owns Sega, now owns Index, which itself owns/owned Atlus. It's too soon to say how exactly it will affect Atlus in the future. Since Atlus was apparently one of the more profitable parts of Index, I don't expect a major change in how they operate, but I suppose it remains to be seen.

Yeah, as a huge Sega fan even I'll admit Sega has been questionable this gaming generation. But they were still releasing amazing stuff on the original Xbox/PS2.

That's kind of just a convoluted way to say "Sega owns Atlus."

No, it's more like Sega's owners own the owners that own Atlus. If you really want it to be concise.

I beat Resident Evil: Revelations just now on Normal. This was surprisingly enjoyable, coming off of the complete failure that 5 was. There are still some things I dislike, such as almost never having the chance to be alone (and thus being subjected to boring chatter), or having the game jump back and forth in time (thus breaking immersion), but overall this was very fun, and quite difficult at times. I wish Capcom would continue in the direction of this game, instead of the direction 5 and 6 took.

Now that I finished Resident Evil: Revelations, I decided to go back and try Red Dead Redemption again. Part of why I stopped playing over a year ago was because I didn't like the controls, or the way the game's tutorial/control prompts/hints were incorporated into the game. They tried to have them presented in a subtle way, I suppose to not distract players, but it ends up backfiring because the control prompts will go by too quickly for me to get them, and this is happening at the same time that exposition is going on. I got fed up with it and quit very early on.
Restarting this, however, I was able to actually pay attention to the dialogue upon beginning the game. It feels like the stuff I attempted last year was a tutorial, and now I can focus on the game proper, since I can generally ignore the shitty tutorial prompts in favor of paying attention to dialogue. I'm almost caught up to where I was as well (not very far at all, hehe), so hopefully I can play through the whole game this time.
