It's like something my dad told me a few weeks ago: There's a certain level of trust in a marriage knowing that the two had held out and not slept with anyone else. It lets you know for certain that they won't go into any extramarital territory, or at least the chances of such a thing occurring are far less likely. For me, one of the most beautiful thoughts is being married to a woman for all my life, one I have things in common with and can really talk and relate to, who loves me and loves God and loves the thought of being a mother, and who remained a virgin until marriage. Not that being a virgin is a requirement--if she's slipped up in the past and has since repented and stayed away from such activity, that's cool--but it definitely is preferable and more romantic.

So I'm old-fashioned and biblical. In my opinion and more important in the opinion of God, there's no better way to be.
