Okay, I'll rephrase. Moral codes relating to sexual encounters have proven to be useless in my life. I envy you being able to stick to such codes Ab.

How can you envy me for sticking to them if you think they're useless? That doesn't make any sense to me.

They're useless to me as they only pushed me into misery. More so I'm just annoyed that I tried my best to stick to them and failed but I congratulate those who can actually stick to them and be happy in doing so.

I think the idea of being a virgin until marriage... then finding out your spouse is terrible in bed is scary. Sex is an important part of a relationship. I'm quite the opposite. I don't think I'd marry someone if I haven't slept with them. I'd say cheating is more likely if you're not pleasing each other.

i don't know... if the person has held out that long for sex, then it's obviously not the most important part of his/her life.. so even if it's bad, they won't likely feel the need to go elsewhere.

I'd say that's pretty hard for you to judge since you've never had sex or been in a relationship that has had sex in it. And someone would honestly feel okay having a terrible sex life? I doubt that. They waited that long for it and all they get is something bad? Seems like it would make you want to go elsewhere even more.

Of course... this is all hypotheticals since we have the virgins vs. the non-virgins. We don't have the most important thing in common here.

Sex with some form of morals is acceptable. Sleeping with people just because you can doesn't agree with me. I'd rather sleep with people that I have a deep connection with instead of some random good looking girl I meet at a party.

Of course, I don't do that now. If I have someone that I care about, I'm good. But in the past yeah... I had sex just to have sex.

Well I say I wouldn't but what I say and do are two very different things.

I'm leaning more towards Loxxy's thought than yours, Shea, ha ha. Sure, I'm holding out, but sex is something I want to experience to the fullest. I'd consider it important--so important that that's why I don't have it.

But yeah, it would kinda suck if I get married and my gal is no good. But y'know what? Big deal. Sex ought to be an extension of love, and if I loved the gal enough to marry her, it doesn't somehow mean my marriage is going to crumble just because the sex is lousy. Will it be less exciting? Sure it will. Does that mean I'll go have a fling with somebody else? No reason to. Sex is important, but to me it's not that important that I would cheat on a dear loved one, and also go against what my God said is righteous.

Besides, she can learn! I'll tell her what I like and what she can do to improve. I highly doubt most people are phenomenal in bed without prior experience. It'll take time.
