I deny the existence of global warming since it isn't factual and I find it greatly offensive that anyone would ever think that we as tiny beings on this planet could actually do something to cause the climate to change.

The climates are shifting. Big fucking deal. Did you know other regions are actually becoming colder?

We've harnassed radiation to the point where it will turn our organs into a black goo which we will then expel out of every orofice on our body. I don't think us causing a climate change is that out of the question.

That said I'm not a huge believer in it anyway but I do think we're doing some form of damage.

We're very effective at destroying ourselves, but even if we nuked the whole planet I still think it would once again flourish at some point. I highly doubt there is any extreme damage we can do to it.

Unless we physically blew the planet apart. Which with some of the power of the weapons we have and the numbers of them, I wouldn't put to far out of our capabilities.

Even so, those are weapons. As I understand it the global warming issue revolves largely around carbon dioxide emissions, which never damaged anyone or anything. To think that we could damage the planet by going about our daily routines is kind of silly.

It's not just based around natural carbon dioxide emissions, it's based on excessively unnatural levels of carbon dioxide emissions that our technology has created, something I don't think is too farfetched. It's like what happens when humans will introduce too many creatures to an ecosystem when they aren't indiginous to there. Pretty soon its population grows to fast and the ecosystem is either destroyed or radically different. Of course this is on a much bigger scale but I don't think it's too much of a strain on the imagination.

I don't know any specific examples of where this would happen (biology and shit isn't my field) but I know it is possible. Though like I said I'm really not sold on the whole global warming thing either. I think humans are doing some damage but not nearly to the point that the green wearing environmentalist activist dickfucks would like us to believe we are.

Redistributing wealth so that I as a hardworking individual can pay for some fucking loser who doesn't have a job, who either collects unemployment or is on welfare or any of those programs. Seriously, fuck all of those losers. Throw 'em in a gas chamber and make life better.

I by no means claim to know much about politics--I tend to go on gut instincts and whatnot... but I thought Obama was only planning to raise taxes on those who earn 250,000 or more a year?

Taxing the wealthy who already pay the majority of the nation's taxes, yes. Let's continue to punish those mean, nasty rich people who for the most part earned their money by working hard and being smart.

Believe me, if you WERE rich, you'd be pissed that you're being taxed out the ass. It's kind of disgusting that you say, "Since I'm not in that position, I don't care."

They can afford it much better than the less wealthy.
I'm not saying that they should be the only people being taxed, but for the most part Republicans work for the rich, and Democrats work for the lower classes.

It's sad, but that's just kind of how it is.

Except that Republicans decrease taxes for all, including middle class working Americans, and Democrats increase taxes for all. It's NOT just a tax increase for the rich, that's an outright lie.

Whether they can afford it or not is no excuse for leeching so much of their money. And most of that money goes for shitty, stupid causes anyway.

all the politics allot the money to pretty pointless stuff. I'm not really trying to come off as a staunch democrat or anything--I don't really like any of it or any of them. I know that the politicians lie---but ALL of them do.


I've always thought that taxes should be percentage based, letting people pay for what they can afford. Not all of the lower classes have no jobs. Middle class people work, they just don't get much money for it.
