i'm bad about setting stuff down/forgetting it.... it's one less thing to keep up with. occasionally, if i'm going out somewhere, i'll grab a purse. i carry a bag to school, but no purse most of the time.

murses are cool, though. haha

I've got a friend who has one. He calls it a fag bag. But he carrys a handgun it it so don't think it's a wuss thing.

When I worked I had a bag that had my stuff in it. But it carried my lunch and camera, and cell phone and everything so it was kinda nice. It was actually a tackle box I got at wal-mart.

I remember when I used to ride my bike all over, and I needed a bag but didn't want the weight and clumsiness of a backpack, I wore a fanny pack. Since I've sold my bike and am soon to re-enter the market for a new one, I was looking forward to smashing around with my fanny pack, both for utilitarian purposes as well as ironic ones. But I've since also noticed tons of hipster doofuses wearing them, but wearing them ONLY for ironic purposes, or because they are actually fags that keep like mace, lipstick, and "One" condoms in there.

A fanny pack? Come on man...

They're rad for bike riding. Having my big stupid backpack just for keys, a cellphone, flask, knife, wallet and a bandanna is stupid. All that stuff is small enough to fit into pockets, but would be crammed tightly into pockets affecting the comfort of the ride. $2 Oakland Athletics fanny pack from a thrift store is beyond perfect.
