I think I might give the doctor's office a call tomorrow and inquire about getting this metal rod removed from my leg. Its been there for I think 6 years now, long enough imo.

Nah, it could stay in for the rest of my life and be fine as long as it isn't causing me pain or anything. But it is, been working out a lot and running hurts bad, and I think its inhibiting muscle growth.

Ouch. My friend has had rods in his leg as well from a dirtbike crash. Shit, I think he had like a metal sheet in his leg or something ridiculous like that.

I sit at a computer desk all day, so no I wouldn't have to take time off. Maybe a couple days for recovery, not sure exactly how it would go. I can't imagine that I'd have to take time off, my leg is fully healed so its not like I wouldn't be able to walk and shit.

The main question is how much is covered by insurance.
