Well things are rather sweet in life minus the not having a partner part. I'm a far better guitarist then i used to be.

That would mean life would be amazing as soon as i become an adult.

uhm. i guess i can just pretend i've put all my time into my studies. ha ha ha

I really should study since my HSC exams are real soon.

I better not be, i hate missing out on stuff.

it usually bites.... unless you're missing out on crappy things.

But it's usually the good things that you end up missing out on.

My perspective changes on the circumstances of that theory. The glass is only half empty if your drink half of it, however if you fill it half way then it's half full.

i've always felt that if you view the glass as half empty, then you'll get more sooner.

Negative views always help. If everything goes bad then atleast you knew it was coming but if it all goes well then you can be overjoyed.

that's my general outlook. i'm often surprised (rather pleasantly)... in fact, only rarely do i get my hopes up and get disappointed... and it's usually in rather dire situations

I used to get my hopes up but after having myself feeling like shit every time i got let down i decided to never get my hopes up for anything to avoid such consequences from happening again.

well, i'm talking about really dire circumstances. generally, if an option is just absolutely heart-breaking and earth-shattering i will convince myself it won't happen (i.e.- i had convinced myself that my mother was going to be fine after leaving the hospital)

Sometimes things happen that we don't want to happen but in the end everything has to happen for a reason.

eh. i know that... or at least it's what everyone keeps saying... but sometimes i guess i still hope beyond all hope. those are my let-downs... and they're the major ones.

Just remember that after every let down you have to move on forward and never look back.
